These include traditional meat dishes like Kofteh Tabrizi – minced meat stuffed with rice from Tabriz city in north of Iran; much loved Shandiz dish, which is Persian lamb chop served with saffron rice, from Mashhad, East region of Iran; famous tender Kabab Tabeh – fried minced lamb with potatoes, which is popular in Esfahan city, centre of Iran; flavourful and delicious Tahchin E Morgh, saffron rice with wild berries stuffed with chicken, from Tehran, the capital; for fish lovers there is Mahi – fried fish served with saffron rice from Boshehr city in south of Iran.
