Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate has joined the ‘Union Tree initiative’ launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to highlight the spirit of the Union as part of the 41st National Day celebrations.

Mr. Michael Nugent, General Manager has planted a ‘Union Tree’ in the hotel courtyard in the presence of head of departments to support this meaningful initiative which is aimed at consolidating the spirit of the union and love for the country.

The Joining Jack Squad - A New Team to Join the Emirates Airlines Dubai Rugby 7’s 2012

On Tuesday 27th November at 10.30am there will be a press conference at Media One Hotel with the JOINING JACK SQUAD and their participation in the Emirates Airlines Rugby 7’s tournament. It is a charity based team to raise awareness and support for the JOINING JACK campaign for Duchene Muscular Dystrophy.

About Jack - Joining Jack

Our son Jack is everything a four-year-old should be. He is cheeky, excitable and a big softy at heart. He loves to make dens, play hide and seek and wave his lightsaber like a Jedi Knight. In a few months time he will start school and cannot wait to begin his journey into the big wide world. But what our beautiful son does not yet know is that he has a terminal, incurable disease.
