Scissor Sisters Live in Abu Dhabi

The chart topping Scissor Sisters will be bringing their widely loved and infectious dance floor anthems to the FLASH Forum this January.

Known for their humorous and often controversial performances, the band's unique mix of disco, New York electro and good old fashioned Elton John-era rock n' roll is widely loved right across the globe.

With a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Record for Comfortably Numb, the Scissor Sisters have collaborated with Elton John, and Bono, lead vocalist of rock band U2, has even described them as "the best pop group in the world".

The New York duo will be joined by MOBO award winning singer, Ms. Dynamite, who is revered for introducing UK garage music to the mainstream with her 2002 debut album, A Little Deeper.

QE2 New Year's Eve

Its official! QE2, one of the most elegant vessels ever built, will be the venue for an exclusive New Year's Eve celebration in her new home Dubai-the first time she has been opened to the public for such an event.

For a limited number of guests the QE2 black tie event is being designed as one of the most exclusive New Year celebrations in the world.

Leili Gerami, spokesperson for Queen Elizabeth 2, commented, "In the year in which the UAE celebrates turning 40, the QE2 also enters her 40s with a new lease of life in Dubai as a fabulous venue for a glittering start to 2012."

QE2 New Year's celebration is strictly by invitation only, however a limited number of exclusive tickets will go on sale this week to the general public.
