SALT & PEPPER Events and German Emirates Club announce the Third Annual German Karneval to take place at Nasimi Beach, Atlantis The Palm on February 24th, 2011, 18h.
Besides the well-known Oktoberfest, Karneval is the second largest cultural festival in Germany. The Karneval festive season begins on November 11 at 11:11am and runs through until the end of February or beginning of March. For many, it is the European equivalent to the ‘Mardi Gras’ carnival as it strongly relies on public celebration, street parties, parades and vibrant masquerade costumes.
